Need help on extension for paper on dehumanization?

The paper is about the book Night where Elie Wiesel writes about his experience in the concentration camp and there are many examples that revolve around dehumanization. My thesis is, Elie Wiesel illustrates in Night how our humanity can quickly deteriorate if we are made to believe that we are worthless. The extension has to be well..an extension of the thesis, and it also has to be universal...it has to apply to the world. I am having a huge brain block please help.
