Would you leave a hammock outside?

My mom bought me a nice hammock nice summer from brookstone. Unfortunately because its very large I have been unable to use it very often. It has wheels but is very large and difficult to roll around. I leave it in the garage because I don't want it to deteriorate like the last one that broke on me while I was sitting in it(very painful). Any ideas?
