Poker should. C bet on a wet board lik 789 with ipa hand like ak high out of position...?

As mathematically my opponent is on a draw so if I bet he's gonna all most of the time and since I'm unsure about if he is loose or not since i never played them before I should check the turn but this leave the door right open for him to bet... So should i just check this down unless of course if i hit a hand?..
