Homeless question.....?

So basically im faced with being homeless in about 2 weeks with a small child, i am currently privatley renting at the minute i was issued a notice 21 which basically means the landlord wants the property back they have done things by the book. How ever the council says all they can do at the minute is put me in a bed and breakfast Out of my area were talking 2- 3 hours away indefinatly .... However my father is very ill and he heavily relies on me for day to day things like cooking cleaning etc does anyone know if the council can still place me out of town? Knowing that my father will deteriorate without me?
